Bad holloween costumes

You have about a month left until Halloween.
Got a costume idea yet?
Well here are some bad ideas you might want to avoid.

Holy mustache Batman!

Spidey has let himself go...

ahhhh.... no, just no.

Zero points for effort,
and that crotch level hole has me worried.

Poor kid, looks like mum forgot to
get a costume for this year's party.
What do you think she is supposed to be?

(idiom) Steer clear of ...

steer clear of
v., informal
To stay away from; keep from going near.
Fred was angry at Bill, and Bill was steering clear of him.
(Because Fred was angry, Bill was trying not to meet him.)

Ayashi no Ceres

This is the very first manga I ever read. It is not big in Japan but it was one of the first mangas that came out when I was in high school so it was really popular (especially among girls). I remember my friends taking me to that mangas shop. I had a look at all the ones they had and I just fell in love with the design of Ayashi no Ceres. I would pick a manga based on its cover and I (still now) always pay much attention to the design. Then of course I will read what the story is about. I watched the anime of Ayashi no Ceres when my friend got that wonderful CD box a year after. I litterally fell in love with the music opening. And yesterday I was on the train (after an awesome day at the beach!!) and I just wanted to listen to some peaceful music and sleep for a while.
I don`t know why or how but I immediately looked for that song and when I arrived home, I jumped on my computer looking for the anime to watch online!!! Already been shedding a few tears since last night but it`s nothing until I see the ending. And I know I`m gonna hate it and I know how it is going to end but I know myself too weel and Jeeeeeeesus! Somebody`s gonna use the whole tissue box! (Wow! that was a lot of "I know" in just one sentence!)

So what if I can’t spell Armageddon? …

it’s not the end of the world.

Kick ass

I wanted to watch that movie for the longuest time!! So last weekend I finally watched KICK ASS! And I have to say I was very surprised! But in a good way. It was much more brutal than I thought and I really enjoyed that and the jokes. Number two is out and you can be sure I will check it out. I just hope I won`t be disappointed since sequels are usually not great...
But great job Kick Ass! I`m a fan!

The Ramen Burger

Imagine ramen noodles, fried and slight crisp, used as buns and slap a meat patty in between the two "ramen" buns.  Now what do you have?  That's right!  You have a ramen burger!!!

This is the newest craze in Hawaii.  It seems like they have stores selling them in California and New York as well.  So if you have a chance, try 'em!

Oh I get it!

I had a job as a trapeze artist once,
 but I was let go.

Riveting

Last night
I watched a documentary
about how ships are built,
it was riveting.

Flashbacks!

When I was a kid
I got attacked by cameras,

I still have flashbacks.

Embarrassing dad

My dad used to embarrass me intentionally when I was younger. I say "used to" that but he still does if he can! It is kind of a hobby of his!! And I guess I inherited that trait so I apologize to my unborn kids who'll probably never read this! Anyway!
This awesome daddy was irritated by his daughter who couldn`t help but wear mini shorts despite her very young age. To teach her a lesson he decided to make his own mini shorts cutting an old pair of jeans and took her and the rest of the family to a restaurant...I know I would have been super embarrassed but that girl apparently Wasn't! She actually only noticed her dad's little revenge once they arrived at the restaurant. She took it as a joke and even published pictures for all her friends to see on FB. Awsome dad and awesome daughter!

One liner

I went to my local library yesterday, and asked:
“Have you got a book on handling rejection without killing?”

Riddle

What eleven letter word does
everyone pronounce incorrectly?

One-liner

"I quit my job at the helium gas factory.
I didn't like being spoken to in that voice."

What do you do? I am a mermaid!

I have read a few articles now about people working as mermaids. I guess some people live their dreams or just watch a little too much Little Mermaid! I remember dreaming about being a mermaid myself and pretending to be one after watching Ariel when I was a child! I would twirl in the water and swim with my legs completely stuck together (no...I swear I don`t do that anymore! really! Reeeaally!! really??!!)
Wish I could beeee....part of that wooooorld!!!

The fox

One of my friends from Norway posted this video on facebook and I have to say, I was shocked and really didn`t expect that!! Need to go to Norway asap!

The shogun of the dark

ALL HAIL AUSTRALIA'S
NEW DARK LORD!!!

Tony (Darth) Abbott.

Yep that's right.
It turns out that the majority of Australians
are either fools or masochists.

The 2013 Australian Federal election on Saturday
was a win for the Liberal/National Coalition
(or as I like to call them "The Nazi Party")

So for at least the next 3 years Australia will stumble backwards,
becoming some kind of prehistoric barbarian like kingdom,
where racism and homophobia are encouraged.
Where the rich become richer and the poor poorer.
I'm ashamed of my fellow country men.

SnOr-lympics

Wooooo hooooo
Japan has the 2020 Olympics.... and I don't care.

No wait! I do care, I'm anoyed by it already.
You know why?
Because for the next 7 years all I'm going to hear is
"Olympics this, and Olympics that."

Honestly are you really excited?
Can you really not wait to see the weight lifting?
Heaven knows I enjoy nothing more than watching a
gigantic Russian woman pick up something heavy.

(I'm being very very sarcastic now)

Greco-roman wrestling? The shooting? The shot put?
The javelin? Horse riding? Synchronized swimming?
Rhythmic gymnastics? Trampoline?
Does anyone honestly look forward to them?
They could cut the whole thing down to one afternoon,
just show us the running and swimming finals and the
women's pole volting and beach volley ball.
(If you know what I mean.)

I think the only thing that will make it worth while
is that it will force the government to clean
up Fukushima quickly and properly.
Which they might never have bothered with otherwise.

Phil's mysteries of the universe #2

THE SUMMER BEANIE!!!

OK I guess it is autumn now,
but I've been seeing this all summer,
and it's still not nearly cold enough to require a beanie yet.
What is wrong with these people?!?!?!
Are they crazy?
It must be very uncomfortable under that hat,
for Christ's sake it uncomfortably hot without the hat.
I don't care if it is fashion, it's insane.
My suspicion is that they are actually reptiles in disguise,
storing heat energy to take over our planet, BEWARE!

The Galaxy Gear is Here!

As most of you may already know, smart watches are on the way!  If this is the first time you hear this, then you haven't been reading our blog.  Tisk, tisk!

Samsung is ready to unveil their new smart watch at the end of this month or in early October.  It is going to be around $299.  Not bad for a watch, but will it be worth the money?  Maybe, but only if you have a Galaxy phone or tablet.  Sorry iPhone users!  You have to wait for Apple's smart watch to come out.

But once synced with your Galaxy device, this watch can be kind of cool.  It has 1.9 megapixel camera so you can take pictures, and a microphone and speakers so you can also use it for phone calls.  Well you can be like a spy in one of those Tom Cruise movies, or like a 007, or even like Dick Tracy!

What do you all think of smart watches???

Australian Election 2013

So I'm going to have to head to the Australian consulate in Osaka one morning this week and place my vote for the Australian 2013 federal election. It's every Australian citizens duty to vote, and you can be fined if you don't (but I would vote anyway because I think its important.)
So you may remember that Australia just had it's first female prime minister (Julia Gillard, who was also Australia's first atheist, unmarried prime minister as well. Which is AWESOME!!!) Well it's that time again and we have to decide between the two parties and their new leaders, (its a two party system). Our options are the Right wing bad guys the Coalition (a combination of the Liberal & Country parties) and their leader Tony Abbot or the left wing good guys the Labour party and their leader Kevin Rudd.
Thing is Kevin Rudd has been our prime minister before and he didn't do a fantastic job, but he is still far better the the pure unbridled evil that is Tony Abbot and his pack of jackals the Liberal party. (You can guess who I will be supporting, oh and if Abbot wins I will be give up my Australian citizenship and become Japanese :P)
