Bad puns

These jokes are puns (play on words) similar to an 親父ギャグ.

    I like fantstic!!!

    That kind of jokes are a little hard to understand for me. Does the first picture mean water melon and melon can't marry because they are different species?

    Good question Takami!
    The word "elope" means to run away and get married secretly. The name of an orange melon in some parts of the world is "cantaloupe" which sounds like "can't elope".
