Yes, that is correct. The US Government is officially shutdown. It started on October 1st and we don't know how long it will last. All national facilities are closed and government offices are closed as well. So most government workers get a nice holiday. Too bad for the mail guy because he still has to work. Either way this shutdown affects everyone and I hope it ends soon. How did this happen? Well, a few people could not decide how to spend money that doesn't exist.
I don't understand why rich people hate spending their tax for public health insurance. Please save poor people including me!
