Limericks

A LIMERICK is a type of Irish poem. They have some special rules kind of like a HAIKU, they have 5 lines with the long 1st, 2nd & 5th lines rhyming and the shorter 3rd and 4th lines rhyming. Here is an example:

"A mouse in her room woke Miss Doud
Who was frightened and screamed very loud
Then a happy thought hit her
To scare off the critter
So she sat up in bed and meowed."

A "Critter" is an small animal or insect.
"Meow" is the sound a cat makes.

Can you try and make a LIMERICK?
