    I love a good challenge! I think the place is in Kyoto. You usually go there so I think it is a good guess. However, I have no idea where this is. It looks similar to Gion area.

    Good guess, yes it is in Kyoto, but it's not Gion. (Hint* It is kind of similar to Gion, but it's over on the west side of town.)

    It's a place called SUMIYA in the old entertainment district of Kyoto.
