For the birds.

Rather than an idiom,

today I thought I would give you a metaphor instead.

"The media is a bunch of vultures."

Any idea what it might mean?

  1. Vultures gather around the body to eat it.
They eat up its meat for a short time.
In the same way, media gather around a VIP or a criminal to broadcast them.
Media eat up their life in a moment, finally destroy everything they have.
    This is my guess. Correct?

  2. Spot on Masa. (That means correct.)
The media, just like vultures, live off the
death and troubles of other people.
Vultures (& journalists) are known to
follow people who look sick or lost, waiting for them to die so they can eat them.
    Another good name for them
    might also be ghouls...
