The inventor of the TV remote is Eugene Polley. Well this great man just passed away this past Sunday at the age of 96.
Now, he may not be listed on school textbooks, but I think he invented one of the most widely used inventions of the recent years. Just imagine your life without a remote control for your TV. When I can't find the remote for my TV, I go nuts!
