Today is July, 14 which means it`s the French National Day!!! Also called Bastille Day, that celebration commemorates the storming of the Bastille, considered a symbol of despotism and tyranny by the French people.
Nowadays it is a public holidays. Festivities are held all over the country (and in Reunion too, of course!). There are also fireworks and a parade on the Champs-Elysees. I will make sure to watch that on the Internet tonight!
