I think "on top of the world" means feeling awesome myself or feeling best. What is the correct answer?

Yes, Masa great answer!! You are correct! to be `on top of the world' means that you are REALLY HAPPY!! Also interesting point of view; in fact there is no top or bottom of the world. This shows that if the idiom is taken literally it has no meaning.
