I dunno...

This question has no real answer...

I was just wondering what your opinion was.

Why do we say "Night Falls" & "Day Breaks"?

For example

"I hope we get home before nightfall"

&

"We must wake up at daybreak."

I guess you could just say

"Dusk" and "Dawn"

but they don't sound as beautiful.....
